A proposal to conduct a Common Written Examination (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in the supervision of National Bank for Rural and Agriculture Development (NABARD) is approved by the Government.

IBPS RRB CWE will be held to fill up the vacancies in the various Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). As per the statement of M. Balachandran, Director of IBPS, “there would be a common test for RRBs as well in coming future”.

Presently, IBPS is conducting CWE for 19 Public Sector Banks to fill the vacancies of PO/MT, Specialist Officers and Clerk. Now, the Institute has been working out on the details of IBPS RRB CWE for 82 Regional Rural Banks to fill various vacancies such as Probationary Officer/Management Trainee, Specialist Officers and Clerk.

So, in near future IBPS is to conduct CWE for RRB. There would be single recruitment exam conducted by IBPS for Regional Rural Banks in the supervision of NABARD.

It is another opportunity for aspirants of banking industry to apply for IBPS RRB CWE. Now, they have to face single recruitment exam conducted by IBPS for RRBs in supervision of NABARD.
